Champions League-Chelsea v Barcelona

We have always thought that Barcelona were the team that were going to win this season's Champion's League competition and even with Chelsea getting a draw in the first leg in Spain that hasn't changed our mind.

Chelsea were pretty negative in the first leg (as that was probably the only way they could contain the Catalan giants) but they will surely have to come out and try and win the game tonight and that's where Barcelona may take advantage of space they didn't get in the first leg.

Chelsea do have an impressive home record in Europe and have gone 17 games undefeated at Stamford Bridge. At odds of 13/8 Chelsea will have plenty of followers considering their record, but interestingly enough it was Barcelona who were the last team to beat Chelsea in a European competition at Stamford Bridge and we think they'll do it again tonight.

Barcelona are also quoted at 13/8 to win and that's a good enough price for us to be getting on . It's rare that Barcelona fail to find the net and while Chelsea have to be applauded for keeping them out in the first leg to do so again tonight will be a tough task.

Barcelona come into the match on the back of a 6-2 win against Real Madrid and their confidence will be high. We can't see them failing to score tonight and as they are vulnerable at the back themselves it's possible there will be a few goals in the match so we're going for a bet on the over 2.5 goals at 4/5.

If Barcelona were to score Chelsea would need to really open up and that could leave them vulnerable at the back. Only a 0-0 draw would be good enough for Chelsea and taking a score draw of say 1-1 5/1 is an option worth considering. The draw isn't too bad a price either tonight at 23/10 , but we think there will be a winner.
Our prediction is a win for Barcelona. We're tipping a correct score of 2-1 8/1 and we're selecting
Xavi 16/1 to be first goalscorer and we'll also be having a bet on him to score anytime at 13/2.
