Bet Of The Day-Hull to beat Villa

We're killing two birds with one stone here really as our bet of the day is also included in our football preview for tonight.

Our Bet of the Day is Hull to beat Aston Villa at odds of 6/1.

Results at the weekend went the way of Hull and if they were to pick up three points tonight they would do their survival chances a whole lot of good. It's risky tipping a team who have lost their last three away games and who are without a win of any kind in six matches, but opponents Villa are in poor form too and at attractive odds we think it's worth going for a Hull win.

Villa are without a win in six at home and nine games overall. The fact they have a pretty small squad seems to have caught up with them late in the season and Hull could take advantage of tired legs if they can reproduce their early season away form.

Hull have only failed to score twice in their last six away games and with Villa always likely to score too the over 2.5 goals at 8/11 must be seriously considered. Both teams to score at 4/5 looks worth betting too.

There are a few options we like in the goaslcoring bets: Giovanni at 12/1 to be first goascorer and 4/1 to score anytime are bothworth a bet, while it could pay to have a bet on Gareth Barry 10/1 as first goalscorer and 7/2 to score anytime, just in case Villa get their noses in front.

Our correct score prediction is Hull to won 2-1 at odds of 17/1.
