Weekend Football Betting Preview

Over at our website we have just published our FRIDAY FOOTBALL TIPS feature where we select what we believe to be good value bets from the football fixtures taking place this weekend.

Here's a litte sneak preview of what's in today's article.

After their recent good results we would have expected Blackpool to be odds on to get a home win against Peterborough. Blackpool have won their last two home league games and are now unbeaten in four and at odds of 21/20 (Partybets) have to be worth a bet. Peterborough are in a run of decent form too, but we’re going for Blackpool to win 2-1 17/2 (Sportingbet).

Aston Villa have won at Ewood Park on their last couple of visits. After an opening day shocker Villa have improved dramatically and they can take all three points from a Blackburn side that don’t look any great shakes at present.

Villa to win 7/5 (Paddypower) appears to be pretty good value. James Milner to score anytime 4/1 (William Hill) looks a decent bet.

Seven out of the last 10 league meetings between Tranmere and Colchester have ended in draws. Although Tranmere have now gone six games without picking up a point we think they might manage to scrape a draw her at odds of 12/5 (Bet365). We’re selecting a 0-0 scoreline 9/1 (Sportingbet).
