Monday Night Football - City Can Nail Hammers

Manchester City can move up into fourth place in the Premier League tonight with a win over West Ham. After their summer spending spree Manchester City were tipped by plenty of people to have an impact in the league this season and haven’t disappointed so far. The only negative this season has been a defeat to neighbours Manchester United, but even then they went down fighting and were unlucky to lose in a tremendously entertaining match.

As you might expect West Ham are available at a decent price 15/2 (Bet365) to get a win tonight and are 7/2 (Coral) to even pick up a point. It looks a tough task for the Hammers tonight (who haven't won in four games) and we just can't see them managing to get a result.

City have kept three clean sheets in their five matches so far and they are Evens (Paddypower) to manage another one tonight.

A win for Manchester city is a best price of 4/9 (888Sport) and although that's a pretty short price, it's a pretty fair assessment given how well they are playing and the current form of their opponents.

We have to go with the home win tonight and think a bet on a 2-0 win 6/1 (Sportingbet) can bring some winnings. Craig Bellamy has been in great goalscoring form and he is on offer at 9/2 (Coral) to be first goalscorer tonight and he is our choice.
