Champions League Tuesday

Arsenal should win in Holland against an Alkmaar team who are out of form and finding wins hard to come by. The Dutch Champions have only managed two wins in 8 matches and we can see Arsenal’s attack breaching their defence more than once tonight. 

Over 2.5 goals at 8/11 (Stan James) plus the both teams to score bet at 4/5 (Ladbrokes) are both worth considering tonight. Scottish Champions Rangers and their opponents Unirea Urziceni are joint bottom of their group with one point. Rangers caved in badly in their last home game against Seville and were soundly beaten 4-1 while the Romanians were securing a 1-1 home draw against Stuttgart.

Little is known about the Romanians-apart from the fact they are managed by ex Chelsea player Dan Petrescu-but they showed decent spirit in coming back from a goal down against Stuttgart and were unlucky not to take all three points form the match.

This could be a close game and we wouldn’t be surprised to see the match end in a draw 5/2 (Paddypower). The two correct score bets that interest us are the 0-0 17/2 (Sportingbet) and the 1-1 6/1 (Coral) with the goalless draw just getting our vote.
